Description Lucern is a picturesque city located in the heart of Switzerland, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty, historic architecture, and proximity to some of the country’s most famous mountains.

Where Myths and Panoramas Meet: Immerse yourself in the mystical world of Mount Pilatus, where legends and breathtaking landscapes converge. The Pilate massif, which dominates the whole region from its heigh of 2 128 meters, is surrounded by fascinating tales, such as the dragon stone that fell from the sky or the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, who is said to be buried in Lake Pilatus. Ascend to the summit aboard the "Dragon Ride," a panoramic gondola that, with its large windows, gives you the feeling of flying. Admire 73 Alpine peaks. Then ride back via the steepest cogwheel railway in the world, before concluding your adventure with a pleasant 15-minute cruise back to Lucern. Enjoy some free time to explore this charming lakeside village. Admire the Chapel Bridge, the famous Lion Monument, and stroll through the historic streets of the old town.
